Comical performers characterized by their Bizarre appearances:

 

colored wigs, stylistic makeup, outlandish costumes, unusually large

 

shoes, red-nose, etc., who entertain spectators by acting in a hilarious

 

fashion. Types of clown acts varies greatly & their intended purpose

 

is to entertain people, especially young children.

 

 

Clowning is often considered an important part of training as a physical

 

performance discipline.

 

Clowns AKA Jesters are comedy performers that use slapstick & physical comedy to entertain. Often a mime style of magic with colourful equipment is employed.
